A billiard hall in Wolverhamption, in which there were 120 persons, collapsed without ■ warning. < In a moment the building 'was a liea.p of ruins, scores of the inmates straggling 'in an agony of fear. Rescue work was more difficult owing to darkness. It is impossible to ascertain the number of deaths until daylight, but it is known that several of the players and. some passers-by a!re dead.
