Robert and Co., the well-known gold embroiderers and emblem manufacturers, of Palraereton North, are engaged just now by th» Government in working the Royal Coat of Arms on all the bed andi table Knen, rags, etc., to be used by the Prince and his suite during his toui of New Zealand. The articles comprise pillow slips,- pillow shams, bed spread*, table cloths, serviettes, and some beautiful New Zealand rugs, etc. ' The lineii goods are of the very best Irish manufacture, and certainly reflect credit on the firms that have supplied them." Messrs. Robert and Co.'s work is a striking revelation as to what can be | done in this country. The King's colours, which are to b« presented by the Prince on behalf of His Majesty King George to the various regiments throughout the Dominion, are also .on view at Robert ana Co.'s. This firm must be complimented on the magnificence and high- | class workmanship displayed throughout. The King's crest, and the . regimental j number of each regiment that is to,re- j ceive the colours, has been woiked in silk and gold on a silk medallion, and it is doubtful if ever a more beautiful piece of /handicraft has been turned out by *ny few ift »ny sauafcry y» frhjs
