In his despatch dealing with the cavalry operations in 1918, which ended.in the capture of Aleppo on the 26t1l of October of that year, writes The Post's London correspondent, General Sir. E. H. H. Allenby mentions the work performed by the Auckland Mounted Rifles Regiment, the Canterbury Mounted Rifles Regiment, and . the Wellington Mounted Rifles Regiment.
