After a few Sinn Seiners had been re-
leased the- rest discovered that they were , required to give their parole to return in six weeks. They refused, and the releases were stopped. * There was intense excitement in the streets. The Lord Mayor of Dublin was hurriedly summoned, and the authorities decided to release the men without a parole. Ninety were taken to the hospitals through the crowded, silent streets.
