HOSPITAL CLUB.
The fourteenth annual general meeting of the Hospital Club was held on Monday .night, at Porirua-. The report mentioned that a period of five years had elapsed since an annual meeting was held. ._ After the 1915 season it' was found impossible to enter a team owing to practically the whole of tho members of the team enlisting. With the return of peace.it has been decided to again enter a team for the first'division championship. The report expressed f ratification at the election of Mr. W. kinner as a vice-president of the W.F.A. The president of the club (Dr. Hassell) recently retired, and it was mentioned that he had occupied the position since the formation of the club. Another prominent officer, Mr. E. Barnes, has left on transfer to Christchurch. Both these gentlemen gave a great deal of assistance to Association, football. The. election .of officers for the ensuing season resulted as follows:-1 President, Dr. Jeffreys; vice-pre3idente, Drs. , Prins and Macphersoh, Messrs. Holder, Anderson, Carter, Kennedy, Pearce, Riordan,.Quill, and Brown; captain, Mr. G. Hughes; vice-captain, Mr. A. Daily; lion, secretary, Mr. W. B. Hicks (rc-electedj ; management committee, Messrs. Russell,, Cocker j Morgan, Goldsmith, Tyrer, Briggs, and Young ; selection committee, Messrs.. Docker, Hicks, and Russell.
