SURVEYORS' EXAMINATION
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES.
Under the supervision of the Surveyors' Board of New Zealand an examination of candfdates for licenses to make surveys in Australia and New Zealand has just been concluded. Twenty-six, candidates sat and twenty were successful, all but two of whom were returned ■ soldiers. Following are the names of the successful candidates:--Messrs. E. J. SmaJlfield, N. Clay, E. P. Worley, T. T. Eopeha, A. D. Goodwin, B, G. W. Gosset, S. A. R. Goss, L.. J. Poff, N. A. Middleman, B. H. Stoddart, T. T. Andrews, and R. G. Slyfield, all of Auckland ; and Messrs. H. R. Farquhar and F. E. Brenfcon, of Wellington; W. K. Wilton, of Taumarunui; 0. J. Dolari, of Haw era; H. R. Motram, of Christ church; W. D. Corbett, of Napier; and F. D. Grant, of Gisborne.
