THE DANISH CRISIS
DUE TO SLESVIG VOTE THE KING AND THE SOCIALISTS. (ACSTRALIAN ■ NEW ZEALAND CABLE ASSOCIATION.) (Received March 31, 2.30 p.m.) COPENHAGEN, 29th March. The. political crisis is due to the attitude of Cabinet in accepting the proGerman result of the plebiscite in the second Zone of Slesvig, while the Opposition favours the internationalisa.tion of the Zone provisionally. The executive committees of the Social Democratio Party and the trade unions have agreed to demand the reinstatement of the Zahle Ministry and the immediate summoning of Parliament. If the demand is not granted the Congress of Trade Unions will consider a general strike.
A later message states that the King has refused the Socialists' demands.
