DISPLAY OF WARNING PLACARDS. (Received March 31, 10 a.m.) LONDON, 30th March. Placards are displayed throughout Southern Ireland, signed" "General Officer commanding the Irish Republican Army " The notices proclaim the suppression of the Royal Irish Constabulary, and describes them as traitors, bloodhounds, and spies, conspiring with the enemy to outrage law abiding and .peaceful people. It warns prospective recruits that they will join the Constabulary at their own peril.
