Philomela, Idleness, Fulica, and Vindictive will represent H. Telford's stable at the -Feilding Meeting. W. 0. Halloran, who won on Sweet Memory at the Christmas Meetings, will ride them when the weights suit. Although Canyon has been accepted for at the Wairarapa Meeting, her owner will not decide; until this afternoon whether she goes lo the Wairarapa or Riccarton. The circular course at Tauherenikau may suit.a quick beginner better than the straight at Riccartou. T. Lloyd went South on Monday with the members of Mr. E. A. M'Kenzie's team which are to compete at the C.J.C. Meeting. G. Jones and L. Wilson went South last night. A. Godfrey has been located at Trentham since the Summer Meeting with Prince Hal and- a half-sister by All Black. Prince Hal, who was recently gelded, has made a good recovery from the operation. Astinome, Battle Array, Dainty Step, Matty and -Spangle, members of J. Ayres's team to compete at the Wairarapa Meeting, will be in charge of E. Browne. F. Corlett will have the mount on Battle Array. . A. Oliver, W. Bell, and G.Carmont will ride at AVairarapa on Saturday, and then go on to Feilding. W. Bell will ride Bonnie Maid, who goes up in charge of H. Howe, in the Feilding Cup. Mrs. W. M'Conkey, so long and favourably known in connection with tho. Opaki racecourse, has taken on the accommodation house at the Trent-ham racecourse. Trainers H.. J. Jefferd and W. Pine have already booked half a dozen boxes each for the local meeting. Swanee River recently contracted a cold, and will not be seen out at any of the Easter Meetings. Messrs. George Hume and F. Jensen, the well-known Wairarapa owners, leave shortly on a holiday trip to Australia. Sweet Memory will be the only member of C. Pritchard's team to compete at Feilding. So far no rider has been engaged. Risingham, who has been accepted for in the Great Autumn Handicap, has also been pa-id up for in two events on the opening day of the Feilding Meeting.. Mr. W. Higgins will also be represented at the last-named gathering by Parorangi and Blackhead. In addition to the horses mentioned yesterday Messrs. Riddiford Bros, will also he represented at the Wairarapa Meeting by the two-year-old Insurrection. Imaribbon and Maritza have been accepted for at both the Wairarapa and Feilding Meetings. Their owner, Mr. John Corry, also has a team racing at the West Coast Meetings. G. Young will ride Battle Song in the Great 'Autumn Handicap. J. Ayres and J. M'Laughlin leave for the South to-night.
