The remains of the late Mr. John Steel, who died suddenly in Cuba-street on Saturday morning, were interred in the Karori Cemetery this morning. The Rev. Dr. Kennedy Elliott officiated. Deceased, who was 65 years of age, was ■the brother-in-law of Mr. W. Allan, of the firm of Messrs Veitch and Allan, with which he had been connected for come time past.
