Early yesterday morning the railway fetation at Waimarino was broken into and £11 stolon. As the result of inquiries an Indian, who refuses to give his name, Was arrested and brought to Taumarunui. Further investigations are being-made regarding his possible connection with the burglary at Falithorpe's drapery store. Accused was brought before the court this afternoon and remanded till to-morrow.

Nundi Bam, a native of Calcutta, who was arrested on Sunday morning for breaking and entering the Waimarino' railway' station, and stealing the sum of £11, was found to be wearing a suit of clothes and shirt stolen from Fauthorpe's, Taumarunui. "When -asked where-! he got the clothes, he replied, "God gave them to .me." Accused ;was remanded till Saturday to see if his fingerprints correspond with those on Fanthorpe's plate-glass window and cash register.
