THE WOOL CLIP
I TO THE EDITOR. Sir,—ln th« pies* of the Dominion <rf the 12th March appeared .a telegram from Palmerston. North to the effect that an important cable had been sent by Mr. Massey to the Director of Raw-Materials in England regarding.tie marketing of the new season s wool clip, and that such cable had been sent at the suggestion of the Farmers' Distributing Company., Kindly permit me to say that the company above referred to had absolutely nothing to. do with the -cable. It was suggested and framed by Mr. W. S. Bennett as president of tho New Zealand Wool Brokers' Association, approved of by Mr. Maseey, and sent by him to London in the exact wording of. the suggestion received from the New Zealand Wool Brokers' Association. Fairness to' Mr. Bennett and the New Zealand Wool Brokers' Association ..demands that a full publicity should be given to the f«;ts a*s to the incorreot statements published.*^! am, etc., HERBERT PAGE, Chairman, | Wellington Wool Brokers' Association,
