The window on the left speaks of the angels' visit to the shepherds, and' the heavenjy host singing : Glory to God in the highest, and. on 1 earth, Peace, goodwill among men. Whilst the window on the. light depicts the troubled scene from the Lake of Galilee, and our Lord calming the. elements. "Peace be. still." The faces are exceptionally life-like, and bear a very noble expresssion. ; The work, which is of great credit t6 (the artist, was carried out at the Christchurch branch of Messrs. Smith and Smith, Ltd., and will be on view at their local showrooms, Lower Gubastreet, until Wednesday evening.
