"Peck's Bad Girl," tho mature film at the Strand Theatre this week, is without doubt one of Mabo! Normafld's brightest pieces of work to date. She appears first as an unruly yet lovable ragamuffin in a small country township, but she is destined.to follow a more useful and exciting life, and her destiny is fulfilled when she moveß to a. great, city, and struggles onward to success and happiness. _ "The Shop-walker" is 0110 of Chaplin's best films, and nil the supports are entertaining.
