Although it has been less marked, there is still a serious shortage of cement, and constructive operations are being delayed accordingly. In the course of some inquiries to-day a Post reporter was informed that there was little prospect of a plentiful supply of cement for, som» time to come. For one thing, the demand has • greatly increased during recent months. , This was mainly; due to building operations. It Beemed as though Wellington, and probably the whole Dominion, was about to enter upon a. boom period as far as the building trade was concerned. •■,)
