STRAND THEATRE.
That star comedienne of the screen, Mabel Norrnand, may be seen at the Strand Theatre this week in one of her brightest pictures, " Peck's Bad Girl." In this fine production Mabel is as lovable as ever, first as a village ragamuffin and .later.as a mannikin in a great city drapery emporium. Half an hour's fun is provided in " The ShopWalker," a Chaplin film, and still another attraction is offered in " The Exploits of the German Submarine U35," a, picture actually taken from the decks'x of ths submarine during the war.
OUR THEATRE, NEWTOWN. Stories of the Wild West are always welcomed by picture-goers, and "Hold Up Your Hands," now being shown at Our Theatre, Newtown, is as good as the best of Western pictures. Margarita Fisher plays the lead. Supports have been well chosen.
The Allan Wilkie Company's season at the Grand Opera House was concluded on Saturday evening with a performance" of "The Rotters."
