KING'S THEATRE.
A varied programme was shown at The King's Theatre last night on the occasion of the weekly change. At the head of the bill is "A Burglar for a Night," a well-written story of 'Wallstreet intrigue, with Mr. J. Warren Kerrigan as the hero of many an exciting incident. The story starts,off in Hong Kong, but quickly jumps to Kew York, where the hero returns to find his father being worsted in a financial fight. Of course he solves the problems, and in the process falls in love with a particularly desirable girl. The King's Orchestra of ten instrumentalists, besides incidental music, gave an artistic rendering of selections from "II Trovatore." Mrs. J. F. Woodward, the vocal solist, sang with §ood effect in "Rosebuds," "On Miami hore," and "Lilac Domino."
