The Oil to be what is known as 300 depr. high test Kerosene, suitable for gae oil making, And shall be subject to Fire test, which must not be under 295 deg Fahr., ite flashing point to ,be not lower than 230 deg. Fahr. Tho specific gravity of the Oil to be nofi lower'than 8.10 nor greater than 8.25 to tho Imperial gallon, and Oil to be of best quality -and . quite free from sulphuric acid; Delivery to be completed within six months of date of acceptance of tender. Alternative t«ndere are Tequfred for 80,000 gallons, delivery to be given c.i.f.e. free of leakage at the following- ports:— 20,000 gallons, Auckland 40,000 gallons,, Wellington 10,0G0 gallons, Lyttelton 10,000 gallons, Dunedin or Port Chalmers. or for 60.000 gallons, delivery as under:— 15,000 gallons, Auckland 25,000 gallons, Wellington 10,000 gallons, Lyttolton 10,000 gallons, Dunedin or Port Chalmers. Tho Oil to be consigned to tho Honourable the Minister for Railways and papers posted to Comptroller of Stores, Wellington. The successful tenderer may be required to furnish a deposit security of £250.
