POLITICAL AFFAIRS
THE LIBERAL MEETING.
A meeting of members of the Liberal Party will be. held this week to select a leader for the party in the House, and deal with other important questions. The Hon. W. D. S. Mac Donald, the Hon. A. M. Myers,-Mr. T..M. Wilford, and other leading members of the party are at prei sent at Rotorua.
It is not expected that the Reform Party will meet for some time. Elections and holidays have led to the accumulation of Government business, as only urgent matters have been dealt -with pending a full meeting of Cabinet. It is probable that Cabinet will meet this week, but appointments to the Ministry will not necessarily be among the questions discussed.
