NEW SOUTH WALES STATE ORCHESTRA.
In connection with the visit of the New South Wales State Orchestra-, a performance of Handel's masterpiece,. "The Messiah," is .to be given on Tuesday, 27th January, by the State orchestra and the Choral Union. • There. will bo four rehearsals for this work, and members are required to attend at least three to qualify for admission. The first will be held at St. .John's Schoolroom to-morrow evening. Members of church choirs possessing the necessary qualifications will be admitted.
