TERRACE SCHOOL SPORTS
Tho Kelburn Park was dotted "with happy faces and with holiday" on Tuesday afternoon on the occasion of the Terrace School sports. Tho weather was perfect, and ths boys and girls entered with spirit into the various events. Tho following were tho results of the championship events: —100 yds: J. Boyle 1, N. Fordham 2. S. Fordham 3. 220 yds: J. Boylo 1, S. Fordham 2, N. Fordham 3. 440 yds: J. Boyle 1, N._ Fordham 2, C. Mailman 3. Throwing cricket ball: C. .Mailman (65yds) 1, J. Boylo 2, E. Bray 3. Long jump: J. Boyle (15ft 3in) 1, J. Morris and C. Mailman (each 14ft 9in) 2.' By obtaining, tho greatest number of points, Jack Boylo becomes the school's champion for 1919. and has his name engraved on the handsome silver cup presented by Mr W H.Lloyd.
