MONSTER AMATEUR COMPETITIONS.
Splendid entries have been received by the management, and a good night's amusement is.promised at the Grand Opera House on Saturday night, when the Vernon-Spencer management will hold another of their popular competitions. The competitors include balladists, vaudeville artists, comedians,, children, dancers, acrobats, ventriloquists, and sketch turns. Besides the number of competitors there is an added attraction of Wellington's original Jazz orchestra, under the conductorship of H. J. Tutscha. The box plan is now open at the Bristol.
