CHARGE OF MANSLAUGHTER

DUNEDIN, 9th December. The inquest regarding the doath of the child whose body' was found in a house at Queen's Drive on 28th November was resumed to-day. Dr. Brennan, who had examined the body, waa of opinion that it was the body of a full-. time, natural child, which had breathed, and that death had occurred from asphyxiation.
Ethel Victoria Andrew said aha waa 22 years of age. Her parents were dead. She was employed in domestic eexvico and gavebirtn to a child on the date mentionefl.
Tho Coroner's verdict waa that tha cause of death was asphyxiation. Tha ' mother was immediately arrested, charged with manslaughter, and remanded to1 Monday next.
