The Japanese Labour Party is protesting against the high cost of living, and has started a movement to secure the reorganisation of the Cabinet. The Premier (Mr. Hara), called an official conference at which it was decided that a public market should be established in each city of 50,000 inhabitants, and loans should be advanced at low rates pf interest to thpse who wish to build homes. It was also suggested that tariffs on imported food should be removed.
