OPERATIC LECTURE.
Something unique in the annals of musical history in Wellington is to be given in the Socialist Hall, 80, Man-ners-street, to-morrow evening, at 7.45 o'clock. Mr. Moses Barite, who has made a study of grand opera in all its aspects, and 13 well known as a musical critic, is to describe in quite a novel fashion the ever-nopular "Faust." The lecture is on lines of an educative nature. The lecturer illustrates his remarks by the use of a good gramophone 'and complete, records. He intends later to deal with other operas.
