"THE DIGGERS."
Those who missed the opportunity of attending a performance of the clever and versatile company, " The Diggers," on the occasion of their two previous visits, will again have the opportunity on Monday next, when this talented combination will commence a brief season at the Grand Opera House, under the direction of Messrs. G. P. Hanna and J..G-. Fama. Since "The Diggers'" last visit to Wellington they have been touring the towns of the North Island, and have met with an extraordinary measure of success, having recently completed a two weeks' season in Auckland. The personnel of the company is the same as originally appeared here. Stan Lawson —the very tlev.er female impersonator —will present new and original items. A special feature is the musical sketches,' into which '.are introduced clever witticisms and smart patter—entirely free from vulgarity. The select orchestra of ten performers is still a great feature of the entertainment. The box plan opens at the Bristol on Thursday next, at 9 a.m.
