The speakers at the Prohibition demonstration in the Town Hall to-morrow evening will be Mr. R. S. Gray, Mr. G. W. Morice (late Captain N.Z.E.F.), and Mr. D. S. Smith (also late N.Z.E.F.).
On Thursday evening, at St. Peter's Schoolroom, Ghuznee-street, another of the successful children's concerts will tak« place that have lately been inaugurated by the To Aro School Committee.
On Thursday night, in the V.M.C.A. Assembly Hall, a- combined concert and sale of work is to bo held. The proceeds aro to bo devoted to the V.M.C.A. Boys' cricket dub funds.
An opportunity will bo given to tho public on Monday, 15th Decembor, of hearing and seeing the boys of Soots College in T. Meo Paterson's operetta "John Bull and his Trades." Tho music is said to be exceptionally good, and as the boys have been practising Msiduously for tome time an enjoyable performance may be expected,
