OTHER ANNOUNCEMENTS.
"The Tragedy of the Miners" will be the subject of Mr. R. Semple's illustrated lecture in Fullford's Hall, Brooklyn, to-morrow night. Miss Ella Semple is to sing "Don't Go Down the Mine."
At his meeting in the Town Hall on Wednesday night Mr. Oakley Browne (North) will speak on many important questions of cnrrent political interest. He will deal with the cry that has been raised by "Reform" of "Unity versus Anarchy," and will show how statements have been distorted in order to injure the Liberal Party. A lecture is to be given in the Concert Chamber of the Town Hall next Thursday evening by Mr. P. Fraser, M.P. (Wellington Central).
Mr. H. Oakley Browne will address a public meeting' for ladies only in the Masonic Hall, Boulcott-street, next Thursday evening. This will take the place of the meeting advertised for tomorrow night at Sydney-street Schoolroom.
Mr. Evelyn Macdonald (Otaki) announces that he will speak' at Plimmertor( Schoolroom next Wednesday ; at Upper Hutt (Independent Hall) on Thursday ; at the Schoolhouse, Mungaroa, on Friday; and at Normandale and Akatarawa on later dates. All meetings will begin at 8 p.m.
