DEMONSTRATION IN TASHKEND
ANNIVERSARY OF RED RULE.

LONDON, 3rd December.
Authoritative reports from Turkestan reveal significant Bolshevik activities in Central Asia. There was an extraordinary Mussulman demonstration at Tashkend in commemoration of the anniversay of Bolshevik rule. Tens of thousands marched in procession, with Russian and Mussulman bands playing revolutionary airs. Thirty Moslem proletariat organisations participated, also ten thousand Mohammedan children, carrying pictures of Lenin and Trotsky. There were similar demonstrations in Moscow, where a so-called Afghan Ambassador declared for an. alliance between Afghanistan and Soviet Russia.
