MANUKA, FROM SYDNEY.

To-morrow the Mannka is due at Wellington Irom Sydney with 200 saloon and 145 steerage passengers and 1010 tons of cargo. She also tarries SOU cases of fruit.

THE KAIWARRA.

From Adelaide, via Lyttelton, the Union Steam Ship Company's new steamer Kaiwarra arrived at Wellington on Saturday. She berthed at the King's Wharf to discharge cargo. Tho Kaiwarra is of 31D0 tons gross, and is one of the "X". class of Union steamers, similar in construction to the familiar "X" boat 3. of. the Union Steam Ship line, bnt is slightly larger than the others of her class. The Kaiwarra will leave Wellington' to-morrow for Newcastle to load coal for New Zealand.

CHRISTMAS RUNNING.

The following arrangements are announced by the Union Steam Ship Company in connection with the running of the Mokoia and Monowai during the Christmas holidays:—The Mokoia, on arrival at Auckland to-day from Dunedin and way ports, wa3 to after discharge for clearing and painting. She will leave 'Auckland towards the end of this week for way ports and Dunedin, arriving there ,->bout the 18th December, and sailing again about tbe 20th December. She will assist in the ferry service from -Lyttelton on the 22nd December, and from Wellington on the 23rd December. The vessel will leave Lyttelton on the 24th December for Wellington, Napier, Gisborne, Tokomaru Bay, and Auckland. The Jlonowai, which arrived at Dunedin on Friday from Auckland and feist Coast ports, will sad on the return trip to-day. She will leave Auckland again on the 18th December for Napier and Wellington, and will assist_ in the ferry service from Wellington on rae 22nd December, and from Lyttelton on the 23rd December. The vessel will leave Wellington again on the 24th December for Lyttelton and Dunedin, arriving there on the 26th December, aud sailing on the return trip to northern porta on the 31st December.

Yesterday the Waitemata arrived at Wellington with a cargo of cool from Newcastle, and berthed at the Railway Wharf. She lias a full load of coal for discharge here. The vessel is to return to Newcastle at the end of next week.
