PARAMOUNT THEATRE.
Originality is the key-note of "Little Miss Hoover," in which Marguerite. Clark appears, now being presented at the Paramount.Theatre. The screen favourite interprets the role of a beautiful society girl who decides that "eggs will win the war." She runs a farm and demonstrates how to hatch chickens without an incubator or a hen, and how to escape the man she didn't want to marr.y. It is the type of play that cannot fail to capture the hearts of everyone, and at the _ame time it provides plenty of good, wholesome comedy. Also showing is "The Marriage Price,' featuring Elsie Ferguson. The story concerns the marriage of a wealthy man to a penniless girl, and the realisation of the young wife after she left her husband. One of the scenes is said to be quite the most novel seen in photoplays in many a day. It shows a sumptuous party given by the heroine in a stable, the guests being seated at a horseshoe table surrounded by stalls in which are quartered the thoroughbred horses owned by the hostess. Other pictures and good music make up a-strong programme.
