HERETAUNGA CLUB OPENS.

There was a fine gathering of yachtsmen and boating enthusiasts on the Petone foreshore on Saturday afternoon for the opening of the Heretaunga Boating Club's season. . The ' visitors included yachtsmen and ladies from the harbour clubs, including the P.N.Y.'C, Evans Bay Yacht Club, and Evans Bay Motor Boat Club, and the Heretaunga Club was well represented by members and friends. Commodore 11. E. Brown welcomed the visitors, for whom Mr. Duncan (P.N. Y.C.), Mr. Webley (Evans Bay Motor r Boat Club), and Mr. Smith (E.8.Y.C.) responded.
