CHOIR MEMBERS RESUME THEIR PLACES

AUCKLAND, This Day The members of St. Matthew's Church Choir have decided to resume their places in the church next Sunday, and protest to the Board of Nomination against its disregard of the congregational petition with respect to the appointment of a vicar. [The men and most of tho lady members of the choir of St. Matthew's An? glican Church absented themselves from service'on Sunday evening last as a protest against wishes expressed by a very largely-signed petition, in which the congregation asked for the appointment of the Rev. Jasper Colder, curate of the church, as vicar, in su-ccession to the Rev W. E. Gillam. It was decided to maintain this attitude until the return of Mr. Calder, who was then in the South.]
