PRICE OF COAL REDUCED IN ENGLAND

It is understood that the Government ;is decreasing the price of coal half-a-I crown a ton. , (Received November 13, 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, 11th November. The Daily Express states that, following upon a conference with the miners' leaders, the Government announces that to-morrow a substantial reduction will be made in the price of coal. The Government has also promised to introduce a Bill limiting coal-owners' profits. .
