BOLSHEVIK TORTURES
A WITNESS IN SYDNEY.
SYDNEY, 12th , November.
Mr. Harold Tanner has arrived from Finland, with the object of developing trade between Australia and Finland. He assisted in fighting the Bolsheviks in Finland, and givts a blood-curdling account of the atrocities of the Bolsheviks. One of their'favourite methods was to iiiiil whole families to tables, with spikes through their tongues. People were crucified in the churches. Others were suspended by the feet till they died; many had deep incisions cut in their bodies, and salt rubbed on the wounds. The whole thing was too ' horrible for anyone to have imagined possible. Bolshevism in Russia had degenerated to the bestial elemental stage, where everyone had to fight to live.
