BRITANNIA THEATRE.
By special advertisement in this issue picturegoers are notified of a complete change in direction and management of the Britannia Theatre. From and including Saturday next, new conditions will obtain generally, and the requirements and wants of the patrons will receive the first and immediate attention of the management and staff. Only first-rtin programmes will be screened, and the star features will be the latest Metro releases, which will be shown in Wellington at the Britannia only. A special orchestra, has been engaged for the evening sessions, and altogether the appointments, high class of programme, music, and general attention to patrons should ensure large attendances. "Some Bride," with Viola Dana, in.the star part, continues to justify its title at the Britannia Theatre, and the story of this facinating flirt is a bright and breezy one, conveying, although it is pure comedy-drama, a wholesome lesson against tampering with the affections, and the resultant burning of fingers. "Slippery Slim's Dilemma," the accompanying comedy, is a pure farcicality, and a new topical budget and a Dominion travelogue complete a capital pro-, gramme.
