ROBERT BURNS CLUB
The monthly "social" and dance of the Robert Burns Club was held in Ponsonby Hall l»st night, and passed off successfully. A fin 9 programme was presented, the following taking part:—Miss Baudmet, recitations "The Relief of Lucknow" and .' A Wee Scots Nicht;" Mrs. Watts, song The Bonnie Banks p' Loch Lomond; Miss Trim, recitations, humorous and Shakespearian -"Madame Best, humorous sketch and "Lorraine;" Mr. Henderson, song "Micky;" ' littlo Helen M'Lellan, action songs; Misses Needham, Phipps, and Helen *M'Lellan, HighlaJid dancing. The pipe music was supplied by Piper Smith, of the Caledonian Society, and Mr. Hood, of Brooklyn, played the accompaniments.
