STRAND THEATRE.
A big audience has been the rale at all sessions at the Strand' Theatre (formerly the People's Picture Palace) since the f re-openine; last Saturday. The theatre is now under entirely new management, and "The Barrier,'" picturised from the novel by Rex Beach was selected to be the first of the big feature films that in future will be screened. Good supporting items are also shown, these including Charles Chaplin in "The Champion: ' The hours of screening will be continuous from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
