CHRJSTCHURCH, This Day.
The Canterbury District Committee this morning heard an appeal by the owner of Risingham, which was placed second in tho Heathcote Handicap at the ' Grand. National Meeting, against the race being awarded to Gold Kip, on the- grounds that the trainer of Gold Kip was unlicensed at the time the race was run. The.committee upheld the C.J.C. ruling, disallowing the appeal.
