IMPROVEMENT IN OUTPUT

DUNEDIN, 30th September. ' It is stated that the "go-slow"; polioy in the Kaitangata mines has been definitely abandoned, and that the output re now a. shads above normal. It is also underBtood that tho Taratu miners, where tho adoption of tho "go-slow" policy reduced the output by more than half, have decided, to revert to normal working immediately.

There is an appreciable improvement in tho output of the Kaitangata e'Oal mine, but it is still much below normal.
