INTERCOLONIAL STEAMERS. The Union Company's intercolonial steamer Moeraki, which arrived at Wellington on Saturday from Sydney, berthed at No. 0 Queen's Wharf, yesterday afternoon. The Moeraki ex perienced fine weather on her trip acro»s tha I Tasmaii. She brought 1500 tons of cargo in- | cludiug 1000 cases of fruit, for Wellington and i 500 toils of cargo, including 200 cases of fruit for I.yttelton. The Moeraki will leave Well lington to-morrow for Lyttelton, from which piirt she ia to proceed to Auckland. Her list of inward passengers Is iiablished elsewhere in tnis issue. Another arrival from Sydney during the week-end was the Hnddart-Parker steamer RivI erina, which arrived in the stream at 1 45 n m | yesterday after an- absence of about five i months. The Riverina left Sydney at 0 p'm. lon Wednesday last, and had a fine weather i ran. The list of passengers appears elsewhere | The Kiverina's cargo totals 2300 tons, including transhipments. Captain A. F. tntwisle is still in charge of the Riverina.

The F. and S. liner Ayrshire, from Liverpool, is at present discharging at Lyttelton. She is due at Wellington on Wednesday to discharge 1800 tons of cargo. * The Golden Bay Shipping Company's Hina arrived at Wellington yesterday to go on the, Patent Slip for overhaul.
