Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having held their monthly sale at Upper Hutt on Thursday, when they offered a fair yarding of cattle. Quotations are as follow: —Empty cows £6 12s to £7 17s 6d, empty heifers £5 12s to £5 19s, two-year. steers £7 4s to £8 2s 6d, 18----month heifers £4 16s to £5 7s 6d, springing heifers £10 to £11, springing cows £11 2s 6d to £11 18s.
