HEAVY LOSS AT AUCKLAND. »»I TBUGRAPH.—PMSi ASIOCIATION.J AUCKLAND,,24th August. Fire gutted the top. floor of the. Hall of Commerce last night, practically cte stroying the, stock and fittings of M, J. Schneideman, who estimates his damage Jit between £10,000 and £12,000. Th«, insurances totalled £4500 in the National office. The remainder of' the building was saved as the result of the prompt work by the brigade.
