The Department of Agriculture, Industries, and Cocmerce, has received the following cablesrram, dateil 17th August, 1919, from the High Commissioner for, New .Zealand, London:—
"Herap-manili market is easier; "J" grade shipment July, August, or September sold £00; Mexican (word mutilated), lowered price, Sisal Itcmp to 10 cents per pound, equal to £51 per ton c.i.f. New York. July price -was 15 cents. This affects demand Manila. New Zealand market is dull and depressed. High points in dock £51; fair £49 to £49 10s." • .
