oEVEN THOUSAND VIEW BATTLESHIP.

The children attending the various schools in and around ths city of Wellington paid a visit of inspection to H.M.S. fNew Zealand this afternoon. Altogether there were about 7000 children to see • over the ship, and the arrangements made \ worked very smoothly. The children ■ ivere brought to ' Post-office Square by •^ram-cars, and were then marched on to "the wharf by twos, the teachers being in I charge.-The children wore their school jjolours, and. all of them, even to the 'smallest, were enthusiastic over the-visit.
