ARGUS LIBEL CASE
SYDNEY, 23rd August.
The jury disagreed and were discharged in the libel case brought by Mr. Ryan (Premier of Queensland) against the Melbourne Argus, claiming £10,000 damages on account of alleged' defamatory matter published concerning the plaintiff. The Judge will consider an application by each party that judgment b« entered for it.
