WASHINGTON, 7th August.
Witnesses for the Railway Brotherhood, giving evidence before the Interstate Commerce Commission, demanded Stat-'e ownership of the railways. They gave evidence that Wall-street interests plundered ' the chief . railways of the country financially,. They asked for no increases in wages, but demanded a share in the control of the railways. ■
