AN APPEAL TO ENTENTE POWERS

LONDON, 7th August. , A wireless message from Berlin states that Kumania has demanded the reduction of the Hungarian army to 15,000, the surrender of all'munition factories and military equipment, 50 per cent, of railway material, 30 per cent, of agricultural machinery and'live stock, 10,000 wagons, of maize, and 35,000 wagons of other cereals. A reply is demanded by the 15th.
The Hungarian Government has appealed to Entente for intervention1; declaring that compliance with the term* is impossible. '
PARIS, 6th August. . The Rumanians have sent an ultir matum to the Hungarian Government demanding a large proportion of the Danube shinping supplies for an iarmy of 300,000, andi a reduction of the Hungarian army to 15,000.
