INFANT DIES PROM SHOCK

DUNEDIN, 7th August. Joyce Pomei-oy, aged two years and nine months, by some means climbed ovsi a fire-screen yesterday afternoon, and upset, a kettle of boiling water, with tho result that she was badly burned on tho face, neck, arms, chest, and legs. She was removed to the hospital, where sho died this morning. At an inquest a verdict of death from shock was returned, the Coroner adding that the burns appeared to have been quite- accidental.
