The complete Austrian Treaty was presented to Dr. Eenner on Sunday. It contains several new clauses, together with modifications of the original draft. It is pointed out that $ho text embodies replies to the various Austrian Notes. A reply is demanded within ten days. (An earlier message stated that fifteen days would be allowed for a reply.)
The Treaty assigns to Austria territories -within Czecho-Slovakia and Hungary inhabited by German-speaking population, abolishes conscription, and restricts the manufacture of war material to a single State-controlled, factory.
The additional clauses of the Treaty mainly concern reparation. The amount of damage and the period for payment are similar to those fixed in the German Treaty. Austria is to surrender her shipping on a ton for ton basis within two months, and also must be prepared within sixty days to supply lists of ani-' mals, machinery, etc., for the replacement of similar goods destroyed by Austria. Austria is also to surrender historical and artistic material taken from invaded territory. Three jurists shall determine what property was taken-illegal-ly by the Hapsburg and other dynasties from Italy, Belgium, Poland, and Czechoslovakia.
